The world has changed since 2021 when chatGPT was launched.
There was an era of just one AI model that could generate text. Then its dimensions expanded. From 1D text to 2D images to 3D videos(length, width and time, yeah not depth). We even explored audio layer.
The possibilities were endless.
The next step became where a foundational models which we call LLMs(Large Language Models) which know all the information of the world were required for any particular specific domain and field. Meaning we want them to shift their focus only in a particular field. That way those models became specialized experts of those fields. We succeeded.
From this came the era of “Agentic AI”. And there are lots of things happening around this.
Now for next-gen GenAI, the big leap can happen when AI with the capabilities of GenAI as foundational base, can become our constant companion.
When I rethink back and try to see what could be the driving force 🤔 for the future, the history tells me two things, again these two things popped up my mind when considering the future of GenAI which can be actually meaningful and helpful in serving humans to multifold enhance the capabilities of our daily life activities. Think it like having the best Personal Assistant of the world 🌎 which is capable of everything, just waiting to get your prompt(instructions) to show its wonders.
The two things I will directly list down are: -
Yes, the reason why I chose these two as my weapons is for a reason. A Personal Assistant would always lack the context when dealing with us in Daily Life. We can switch context moment to moment, GenAI can't. And second comes is Attention. Everyone started quoting the Google's paper “Attention is all you need" since the AI boom. But no one thinks 🤔 of using it at every step. Because humans only decide at the lowest level to give attention to what, be it knowingly or unknowingly.
Hence I firmly believe(I actually know but to be humble) that with the proper “Context" and peoper “Attention" AI can very easily walk step by step with humans im the future. Thank God that still humans will decide that what is the context? And to give attention to what?
So I can for sure claim on this idea 💡 😃 for now.
